Tenant Conference

At our recent Tenant Conference at Kingsland Hub, our Housing Services Team gained insights, feedback and suggestions from residents on the important new Awaab’s Law legislation, and what it means for safety and accountability.

Across the sessions we explored other important topics: rent & service charges, and the realities and responsibilities of being a tenant board member. The conversations were thoughtful, honest, and full of ideas we’ll be taking forward.

As our Housing Services Director and Chair of the Tenant Conference, Tom Markwell, shared:
“A huge thank you to everyone who took the time to join us, contribute, ask questions, and share experiences at our Tenant Conference. Your voices shaped the day, and your insight is exactly what drives meaningful change. For tenants who couldn’t make it to this Conference, we’d be willing to hear what issues you would like to discuss at our next Conference.”

A special thank you to our partners at St Giles Trust and Carly for joining us and sharing more about our upcoming Kingsland Lifeline Hub Pantry project. We’re excited about what this collaboration will bring to our local communities in and around Haggerston.
