This year London Open Gardens celebrated its 25th anniversary. This weekend event which runs in June every year allows the public to access community and private gardens ordinarily closed to them, giving Londoners an opportunity to see hidden green spaces. PBHA is proud to have been a part of this event for over a decade. We opened the doors to Clissold Community Gardens which is a community food growing space, and part of the Peter Bedford Housing Association’s wellbeing programme. The garden is tucked behind a row of Georgian terraced houses and lies next to a very small wood. It is frequented by resident artists, food growers, bird watchers and sun-lovers. We were delighted to welcome 103 visitors, and tell them about our history and the projects we deliver to disadvantaged groups.
