We recently reported to the Drapers’ Charitable Fund to feedback on the generous grant awarded to us to support the work of our Adult Learning and Enterprise service and enable us to reach more people. As a result of support from the Fund, we were able to reach many more new participants than we had ever envisioned – over 130 in fact.
Our report was well-received with Andy Mellows, Head of Charities at the Worshipful Company of Drapers. Andy commented that:
“you supported many more beneficiaries than you originally anticipated, which is a great result”
and he further praised:
“the fact that the programme appears to be holistic…all the challenges your beneficiaries are facing are tackled together in the one location which the [Drapers’ Charitable Fund] committee felt was a great strength of the programme.”
This is great news and we hope to continue to inspire brighter futures and help those with the greatest need through our work!
