Success for Outpost – Time Out Awards 2018 Our social enterprise Outpost Shop & Gallery has claimed success in the Time Out Love London Awards 2018. Outpost came in at 2nd place for Most Loved Local Shop in Holloway! This was no small feat for a small social enterprise at the quiet end of Holloway Road. Outpost hosted a special exhibition (Not a load of Pollocks: I Told You I Was Under The Weather) celebrating the life and work of Islington-based artist Roy Appleton who sadly passed away in September 2017. Born in 1954, Roy Appleton was a dad, a grandad, a brother, an uncle, a partner and a good friend to many. He spent most of his life making, building, fixing - training himself on every DIY job imaginable! Open Garden Squares Weekend 2017 Clissold Community Garden, 23A Clissold Road, N16 9EX Saturday 17 June: 10am-4pm Sunday 18 June: 12:30pm-4pm Tended and cultivated by dedicated members of our weekly gardening group, Clissold Community Garden is filled with fruit, vegetables and herbs served in PBHA’s canteens and the Coffee Shop, our social enterprise cafe on Kingsland Road.
