Chair of Finance Committee and Board Member with Fundraising expertise (both voluntary)
Location: Hackney and Islington, London
Hours: Eight meetings a year plus occasional visits to fit your diary
PBHA is a housing association with charitable aims that creates positive change in people’s lives. As well as homes and support, we empower people to learn, access work and discover their creative talents. Based mainly in Hackney and Islington, we work with people who are homeless, have mental ill health, learning difficulties and multiple needs. Our work enables people to move on and lead independent lives.
We are committed to mutual support, participation and personal development for both staff and service users.
We are looking to recruit 2 new Board Members, one as Chair of the Finance Committee with senior level Finance experience, and a second as a Member of the Finance Committee with Fundraising experience. Both new Board members will be members of the Board and work with the Chair, the Chief Executive and the Senior Management Team to increase the impact of PBHA’s work with current and potential tenants and participants.
