Join Peter Bedford Housing Association the weekend of 14-15 June at our Clissold Community Garden, 23a Clissold Road, London N16 9EX as part of the London Parks and Garden Trust’s Open Garden Squares weekend Saturday 10.00 am to 4.00pm, Sunday 12.30pm to 4.00pm.
This hidden gem in Hackney, not normally open to the public, is part of our ecotherapy programme promoting healthy living and increased mental wellbeing through gardening, eating well, having a sense of community and learning new skills.
Come along and meet our volunteers, tenants and participants who have created a sustainable haven for nature and a resource for growing local food. Tour the garden and enjoy tea and our own baked biscuits and flapjacks.
Volunteers from our Change Together project, run in partnership with Volunteer Centre Hackney and funded by Time to Change, will be holding conversations to help end stigma and discrimination faced by people with mental health problems.
