Remembering with Care: PBHA Memorial Day 2025

At Peter Bedford Housing Association, community is at the heart of everything we do. Every year on 5th August, we take time to quietly reflect and remember tenants who sadly passed away while living with us over the last 12 months.

This year, we honour the memories of six individuals who were part of the Peter Bedford social community:

  • Nenad Pejkovski
  • Lukasz Madry
  • John Hogg
  • Samuel Awosoga
  • Alandale Finn
  • Paul Clancy

Each person left their own mark, and their absence is felt, but we’re thankful for the moments we shared and the community we built together.

Memorial Day is a chance for tenants, staff, and supporters to pause, reflect, and honour these lives in their own way. Whether it’s a moment of silence, a shared story, or simply remembering in your own time, you’re invited to take part.

Lisa, our Property Services Officer remembers each of the tenants and reflected: “Over the years working at PBHA I’ve built up a lot of communication with some of the tenants that have sadly passed away. I feel we are more than just a housing association; we also are there to listen and help with support. Today, we remember those who are no longer with us”.

If you’re a tenant or staff member who has been affected, our HR team is here to support you. Please contact hr@peterbedford.org.uk if you need support.

We’ll remember them always—with warmth, with gratitude, and with care.
