Peter Bedford Housing Association (PBHA) has announced plans to relocate its Hackney and Islington head offices to a new site in Haggerston, on the border of both boroughs. PBHA will also offer services from community hubs at residential sites in Finsbury Park and Stoke Newington, as well as at Outpost, its shop and gallery on the Holloway Road. The move is expected to be completed in March 2015.

PBHA Chief Executive Clare Norton said:

‘We are excited by the opportunity to bring together our Hackney and Islington teams into new premises in Haggerston. We look forward to offering our tenants, participants and the wider community with an enhanced service, from a fully accessible site with state of the art training facilities.

‘We have negotiated a long-term lease from Islington and Shoreditch Housing Association (ISHA), which will enable us to continue our proud history of supporting social inclusion in North East London for many years to come.’

Clare Thomson, ISHA’s Chief Executive said:

‘We are delighted that Peter Bedford Housing Association (PBHA) will be occupying the ground floor of our new affordable housing scheme in Kingsland Road.  PBHA’s occupation will complement our scheme and we look forward to building on this successful partnership to positively contribute to the regeneration of the area.’
