We are delighted to be able to announce our expansion into the borough of Newham after receiving a social investment loan of £2.05 million from Social and Sustainable Capital (SASC).

The SASC fund will allow us to purchase 12 one-bedroom flats in Newham to house single adults who are homeless and have support needs. The properties are under refurbishment and are set to be let over the Summer.

Our move into Newham is coming shortly after Newham Council launched their 5-year Homelessness & Rough Sleeping Strategy.  This project will support the Council in achieving their key goals of eradicating rough sleeping, reducing the use of temporary accommodation, and providing access to better housing. Our recovery support to 12 new tenants will help them to address their support needs and thrive as members of the community. By providing high-quality, one-bedroom homes alongside housing support, our tenants will be much less likely to return to being homeless.

We are delighted to be able to partner with Newham Council in achieving their strategy https://www.newham.gov.uk/housing-homes-homelessness/homelessness-rough-sleeping-strategy .
