As many will now know it is with great sadness that we have taken the difficult decision to permanently close Outpost Shop and Gallery social enterprise on Holloway Road, after 20 successful years of trading and training.

To our community of loyal customers, visitors, volunteers, retail trainees, artists, makers, supporters, partners, suppliers & staff past & present…

We plan to create an Online Archive on our website as a lasting legacy that celebrates the many successes achieved over the 20 year history of Outpost social enterprise shop and gallery (formerly Bedfords). This platform will allow us to share our journey as the shop and gallery has evolved, through images, information highlights, memories and experiences from the people and community we nurtured. We aim to make it as inclusive as possible for everyone to be proud of for years to come.

We would love you to join us in celebrating success by sharing what Outpost or Bedfords has meant to you, how it helped or made a difference in your life. This could include your memories of participating in training or volunteering, shopping, or visiting an exhibition, event or workshop. Or something you have created in our training programmes.

Your experiences and achievements are vital to the Online Archive legacy.

You can choose to contribute through words, photos, art, drawing, poetry or music, or even a short recording of yourself. We’re open to ideas!

If you create a visual response, please take a photo of it and share with us. If sharing images of yourself or other people: Please ask the person in the photo, and write that consent has been given for PBHA to use the image in our Online Archive.

Please email your contributions to:  Outpost@peterbedford.org.uk

OR you can share with us on social media – Facebook, Instagram or Twitter
By posting a picture and tagging @OutpostN7 or direct message us.

Don’t hesitate to email us if you have any questions. We look forward to hearing from you!  🙂

Warmest wishes from the PBHA team
