Celebrating 19 Years of Dedication: Thank You, Lisa!

Today we celebrate an incredible milestone — Lisa Hutchings, our much-loved Property Services Officer, marks 19 years of dedicated service to Peter Bedford Housing Association!

Lisa’s journey with PBHA began in April 2006 as an agency worker and shop supervisor at our former gift shop, Bedfords on Holloway Road. For many years, she brought her own east London brand of warmth and community spirit to the shop, before transitioning into the Property Team in 2014 as a repairs worker — a role she has fulfilled with her care and commitment.

In 2021, Lisa stepped into the role of Planned Works Officer, continuing to support tenants with the same compassion and professionalism that have defined her career. Whether helping someone through a housing issue or simply offering a kind word, Lisa has always gone above and beyond.

Over the years, Lisa has witnessed — and helped shape — many key moments in PBHA’s history. From watching the Olympic Torch pass through Hackney in 2012, to supporting our communities through the COVID-19 pandemic, her presence has been a constant source of strength and positivity.

Lisa is not only a valued team member — she’s a friend, a mentor, and a true PBHA legend. Her dedication to our tenants and her daily support for her colleagues have left a lasting impact on everyone she works with.

From All of Us – Thank you, Lisa, for your 19 years of service, care, and warm sense of Hackney humour. We’re lucky to have you — and we can’t wait to celebrate the big 20 next year!
