Celebrate PRIDE 2019 Peter Bedford Housing Association tenants, participants and staff are invited to join us in celebrating PRIDE on Friday 5th July 2019 from 12pm – 4pm at Kingsland Hub. It’s sure to be a fun-filled event, with Delicious food, Music and lots of celebration and fun… Some of the prizes for the day have been kindly donated by Matalan Dalston Branch and Pizza Union in Dalton. Creating Pathways to Work Workshop PBHA are delighted to announce a further collaboration with Perceptions Warehouse this year. This year’s workshop is called ‘Creating Pathways To Work’ and it will be held at the Isledon Canteen, 21st June, 12-2pm. We will be looking at affirmations, mantra’s, body language, confidence, how you can break down your own barriers to work and of course tea and biscuits. Friday 6th July 2018 hosted our 21st annual PRIDE event, attended by participants, tenants, staff, and the wider community. It was a fun-filled event, filled with singing, karaoke, food, tombola, laughter, and joy. The tenant-led event was opened with a welcoming address by the Mayor of Hackney Philip Glanville, followed with speeches from PBHA CEO Clare Norton, and our tenant event organizers Patrick and Joe. The strong link between homelessness and the LGBTQ+ community was highlighted and the progress made since PBHA held it's first ever PRIDE event 21 years ago.
