Pride 2022

2022-07-04T11:44:02+01:00

On Thursday 30th June, we will celebrate Pride with our annual festival. Tenants and Participants come together to organise the day, where we dance, sing and celebrate our talents, along with eating a hearty meal. We have been celebrating Pride for 25 years at Peter Bedford, led by tenants who want to challenge LGBTQ discrimination and create a better community. The festival has made a real difference to how important being inclusive and celebrating our differences are in the Peter Bedford community. "Pride is where I am free to be who I am and not to be judged" - Peter Caffrey, [...]

Homeless Link Grant

2020-11-26T10:00:34+00:00

We are delighted to be able to announce that we have been awarded a Homeless Link grant. The award of £98,000 will fund an expansion of our work to house and support more disadvantaged people in Hackney and Islington at a time when increasing numbers face possible homelessness due to the pandemic. We hope to be able to use this important grant to assist many more of our tenants to move on to a home and a life of their own, and to make available more of our accommodation to increasing numbers of people in need.
