Living and Working at Peter Bedford

Before joining Peter Bedford, I was unemployed and had just been made homeless. I feel that I have always been quite a confident person, but thought I would always work as a gardener because this is the work that I had always done. Peter Bedford changed this and helped me to think about other employment paths.

I am very happy about completing a Level 1 NVQ diploma in Retail, and I doubly enjoyed doing this in the shop’s relaxed atmosphere and making friends whilst doing it.

I am a tenant and was a participant at Bedfords shop until September 2010 when I moved on to full-time employment.
