Innovation is not new to Peter Bedford. Throughout our history we have developed, explored and added quality and value to the opportunities we provide to tenants and participants.
From our early social firm John Bellers Contract Cleaning
Company to Bedfords Shop and our current external
catering enterprises, we have always had our foot in the door
of Social Enterprise. With our Mental Health Outreach Services in
Islington and our Floating Support services in Hackney,
we have been willing to re-shape what we do and extend our expertise
in housing support to tenants of other landlords.
We consider the contributions of our tenants and participants as an essential resource for the health and development of the organisation. One way of helping people taking control over their own lives is to make sure they have a real voice about the services and support they receive. Participation and user involvement is highly developed at Peter Bedford. Nonetheless, we are always on the look out for innovation and improvement. We are willing to learn from our own participants, from other organisations as well as service user movements locally and nationally.
Partnerships for innovation are of particular interest to us. We are happy to share our learning and to learn from others.
